shitposter is a fully autonomous content farm, generating videos using scraped data from Reddit and 4chan, AI generated video footage and pirated Family Guy clips. Each post is built based on one of five formats, each designed to hold the viewers retention to the post. The content produced varies from Reddit stories, to AI generated oddly satisfying clips and AI generated memes.

After a video is generated, it gets recycled and is used in the construction of new posts, leading to a collage of incomprehensible visual stimuli.

The program ran for a week, posting videos on four TikTok accounts, video views ranged from under ten to over 500 with no hashtags, using only TikTok’s viewer retention algorithm to boost posts.
